REVIEW PROCESS FOR OPENINGS

Openings is a section in CVIR for short creative engagements with international relations; therefore, it requires an alternative review process.

This alternative review process will meet the standards of the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association and Creative Commons by employing the following review guidelines:

  • Two peer reviewers will be found for creative pieces or a set of Special Issue submissions if the creative form/format allows. They will follow the usual anonymous peer review process.
  • Where the creative form/format of the piece makes securing a peer reviewer difficult (e.g. an original artwork and accompanying text; a recorded audio interview and transcript), two Openings editors will serve as the reviewers of the submission.

Opinion Pieces

Opinion pieces will be included at the discretion of the Editor.
